Tourism:
The Tourism Committee is charged with seeking ways to promote and enhance our number one industry.  The Committee works cooperatively with the St. Thomas-St. John Hotel association, Marine Industry Association, Taxi Association and other private groups and agencies on projects and initiatives to accomplish it's purpose.

The committee has spearheaded a travel agent familiarization trip, organized a radio advertising campaign in the North east, created a discount coupon booklet for visitors, spoken at various schools and with youth groups on the importance of tourism.  The committee has also organized island wide clean-up campaigns, and hosted beach clean-up and fun days with members of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association.
